‘Meet the Founders': Matt and Brad
This is the 4th installment of the ‘Meet a Blogger’ series from BlogHighEd.org. Today we’re taking a look at … ourselves. Kind of weird to blog about. Below are videos from Matt and I, the co-founders of BlogHighEd.org. Matt Herzberger chats with us about the future of social media and I chime in on some thoughts for student bloggers.
Matt can’t join us for eduWeb 2008, but I hope you all have a chance to meet him at future conferences. With all of the buzz that BlogHighEd is receiving this week, now is a great time to meet the other person behind the site. We hope this will continue to be a great resource for Higher Education professionals around the globe.
As we approach 6 months of being live, we have now had visitors from all 50 states as well as 81 other countries. We are close to 400 subscribers and have served up over 20,000 pageviews on BlogHighEd.org. Most of you view content via RSS or email, so a quick look at Feedburner shows a total of 316,274 views on the RSS feed.
Matt blogs at http://www.mattherzberger.com and is keeping a great post updated about the conference. I blog at http://www.squaredpeg.com and will be sharing more of my thoughts as the conference progresses.
Thanks for coming to BlogHighEd.org, and welcome to the community. We appreciate you all.
