Why am I applying?

We are not seeking to be an exclusive club that only lets the ‘cool kids’ in. However, we are looking for quality higher ed blogs…. people who have insightful blogs primarily about higher education (not a mix of work/personal life) and will be around for the long haul. We don’t want a blog that hasn’t had a post in months, or hasn’t been around for long. Once every two months, the community will vote on who should be added to the blogroll. The blog receiving the most votes is added the following month.

Who are we looking for?

Here are a few areas: webmasters, marketers, counselors, vendors, counselors, consultants, and more. If you are in the Higher Ed environment and would like to be included, please apply below. We are fine with having vendors or consultants as a part of the community and conversation, however, we ask that you only submit if you are “vendor neutral”. We truly believe that what you have to share is valuable, but we prefer to hear more about higher education issues and thoughts rather than your product or services.

We’re looking for people who have a passion for blogging on higher ed, spend time checking out other blogs, reading news stories, and responding to comments. Blogs must be live for 6 months before being added to the ballot.

Application form

After applying to BlogHighEd, your blog will stay on the voting ballot until it goes 3 months without receiving a vote. At that point, it will be removed from the ballot and you must reapply if you wish to be voted on. To see which blogs are currently being voted on, click here.
